Today we went to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, the "heart of St James Gate Brewery." The seven floor museum was a self guided tour through which we learned the history, production and advertising of the famous beer found here in Dublin. It was pretty impressive seeing all that goes into the process. We were told they have been producing Guinness since 1759 so I guess they have had enough time to perfect the process. We took our time, traveling up floor by floor until we reached our destination at the top. One of the tallest buildings in Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse peaks with the Gravity Bar. Three hundred sixty degree windows line this top deck where we were given a complimentary pint. Looking out over all of Dublin, we enjoyed our drink and watched the sunset.

The account for the day would be incomplete without sharing some pictures from the walk down. It was a beautiful day in Dublin and we were all thankful for that because our journey involved a little bit of a trek. We took a bus down to the Dublin City Center and then walked about half an hour to the Storehouse.
