Adventure to Dublin

Dublin City University is located about 3 miles north of Dublin city. A bus fare costs 1.6 Euro each way. In an effort to be both cost effective and adventurous, a group of us decided to walk to the city. With sneakers on and camera close by, we set off with Meghan as our leader. We did have to stop occasionally to ask for directions, but we made it to the city two hours later.

Here is what we found!

I loved the houses on the way down.

We saw a beautiful church with a stream to the side. So many hidden jewels along the way.

The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland. Absolutely beautiful.

Other sites along the way.

As you can see, the journey to the City Center was just as interesting as the city itself. Pretty worn out by the time we arrived in Dublin, we did some short sightseeing and headed back to campus, this time by bus.
